The work is the argument.
We don't pitch ourselves with adjectives. The case studies — for HP, the NBA, the Washington Wizards, NBC Sports, Red Bull — are the case.
About
The Lighthouse Agency was founded in Maryland by Allen J. Dixon — a Morgan State marketing graduate whose career has passed through HP, the NBA League Office, the Washington Wizards, NBC Sports, and Red Bull. LH channels those experiences into a boutique marketing and consulting firm focused on content creation, strategy, and helping businesses thrive in the digital landscape.
Maryland is the home base, not the brand. LH works with clients across the country, but the agency’s center of gravity is the communities that shaped its founder — HBCU networks, Black professional culture, and the civic institutions that built the Mid-Atlantic. That proximity is why clients call when the work requires cultural fluency the trend reports can’t provide.
LH is a marketing agency with a point of view. This is where it came from.
What we believe
We don't pitch ourselves with adjectives. The case studies — for HP, the NBA, the Washington Wizards, NBC Sports, Red Bull — are the case.
Trend reports tell you what happened. Being in the room tells you what's about to.
Generic "multicultural marketing" doesn't exist. We work in specific audiences, in specific places, with specific people.
Good production, good writing, good design — these are the floor. What we actually sell is judgment.
We work everywhere, but we answer to the city first. That's not sentiment — it's quality control.
